USING A TERRY AS A PREFOLD

1. Spread nappy out in a diamond shape. Fold up the bottom corner*, then fold down the top corner so that it just crosses over the bottom corner.

2. Fold the left corner in, keeping the top level, to about the middle*, then fold the right corner to cross over it.

3. Fold the nappy into three to use it inside cover sold for use with pre-folds.

*Adjusting how far to fold the nappy changes the size of the square you end up with, a larger square to use with larger covers, a smaller one for small covers. Because the terry is bulky, a cover one size larger than expected may be needed (eg an 8kg baby may need a cover for 9-15kg size), BUT only one size of nappy is ever needed.
