OUR MISSION:
The Network exists to promote the use of washable
nappies and thus to reduce the environmental impact of disposable
nappies. As a small voluntary organization we have achieved a
great deal in working with local authorities.
PROJECT WORK:
Due to the closure of the Fenland Community
Laundry Service and the withdrawal of funding by two district
councils, we are no longer able to provide free trial kits.
However, we are working with Cambridge
City Council to give away free starter kits to expectant and new
parents.
The Network currently employs two Nappy Advisors, Emma Harrison
and Jessica Glenister.
